Second Marriages

Invitations to the marriage of a young divorcee or widow do not differ from those of a first marriage except that the bride's married name is used if she has retained it:

Etc.

Divorced Parents:

Bride's mother has not remarried:
Mother's maiden name,
plus that of her divorced husband

Etc.

Bride's mother has remarried:
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Michael Scott
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of her daughter

If the bride's father is issuing the invitations and he has remarried, invitations should be issued in the name
of the father and stepmother;
the bride?s surname is not necessary.

Wedding Announcements

Announcements should be mailed
immediately following the ceremony.
